This show is only open to current students and clients of the ECR. The purpose of this show is to promote confidence through the fun of competition. The classes are divided by the Academy’s Levels of Achievement guidelines instead of breed or age divisions. This promotes a fair and fun environment to compete in. Fun classes are scattered throughout the schedule such as the “Egg and Spoon Race” and the “Barrel Race”. OPEN SHOWS AND GYMKHANA
El Camino students are given the opportunity to show off their hard earned skills in the spirit of competition. We regularly attend numerous Open Shows and Gymkhana’s. These events are open to all breeds of horses and cater to all levels of riders. As many of our Riding Academy students do not own their own horse, EC will rent one of our lesson horses to them for such an occasion. Attending a horse show is a great way to connect with our local horse community, make friends, and learn the value of good sportsmanship.
